Children of the Night

This is based around the Buffy/Angel relationship.I happened to notice how the words to Andrew Lloyd Webber’s “The music of the Night” were also quite apt for vampires. After that it was just a case of seeing if I could manage to put words to the same tune. Although the tune is the same, it has a different arrangement – I have used the bridge as a chorus, and so finish with that rather than with a couplet to the tune of the verse.

Sunset, waking, shaking off the daylight,

Watch the friendly moon as it penetrates the gloom

Softly, slowly, night unfurls her splendour,
